About Dunham Dogs
Hi! I’m Ashley!
I’m a Knowledge Assessed Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) & a supporting Member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.
I began as an intern in a vet clinic at age 12, then went on to graduate from the East Valley Institute of Technology at age 17, and worked as a vet assistant in small animal, equine, and conservation medicine.
My training career began in 2012, when I was selected to be an intern teacher for a service dog training organization. Since then I have worked with other service dog training organizations, dog sporting facilities, and virtual dog training companies.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University, and while I was there spent 3 years as an undergraduate researcher in an animal behavior lab.
Giving back to the community is important to me! I spent 5 years volunteering with a wildlife rehabilitation facility gaining hands-on experience with wild canids like wolves, coyotes, foxes, and many other species. Now I volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a puppy raiser.
